The Genie is a new innovation in preformed orthoses, designed by one of the country’s leading podiatrists. It has been designed to provide support and complete comfort due to the unique contour.

Designed by Jason Agosta who has more than 35 years of experience working in private practice and as a consultant to elite Australian and international sportsmen and women, as well as, running shoe companies.  He has in the past, lectured in sports and musculo-skeletal injuries at La Trobe University.

The Genie is finally ‘out of the bottle’

The Genie has an elongated, continuous curve to support but not apply undue pressure to the foot. Pressure is even and smooth, making The Genie comfortable and ideal for activities. At 2mm and braced internally both medially and laterally, The Genie ideally combines support and flexibility, perfect for activities.

As a preformed orthotic, The Genie is super-lightweight, flexible, durable and supportive.  It can be modified to satisfy a patient’s needs at the time of consultation.  Any additions and covers are easily adhered.

Materials

The Genie uses 100% renewable and recyclable PA11 nylon, the highest quality material available for 3D printing and clinical use.  Made from castor beans, it is chemically and mechanically heat-resistant and ideally suited for highly-technical applications due to its durability.

Sizing

The Genie is available in sizes from 36 EU to 47 EU

How to use

The Genie can be used as pressed or easily modified by re-heating to increase or lower support.  It can be posted with foams to lift and/or brace for greater stiffness.
